The Mildred and Jube Foundation Inc. gave away more than 300 Back-to-School backpacks over two days in early September 2020 to parents and their children at the Gum Springs Community Center in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Social distancing contributed to the long lines outside the in the Community Center parking lot.

Nevertheless, there were lots of smiles behind the masks nearly everyone wore during the backpack giveaway.
