The Mildred and Jube Foundation Inc. this month donated nearly 200 backpacks to the Gum Springs Community Center in Alexandria, Virginia to the Gunston Middle School and Dorothy Hamilton Middle School in Arlington, Virginia. The backpacks will be distributed to students so they can carry books and other supplies when they return to school in September.
