This spring, the Mildred and Jube Foundation Inc. announced its largest donnations yet to support higher education at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia and North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina. In Greensboro, Board Secretary Lemuel Dowdy was on hand to deliver support to a school his father led nearly a half century ago as the first chancellor of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Meanwhile, Board Vice President Tadasha Shiver-Culbreath traveled to Richmond to personally deliver MJFI’s first scholarship contribution to Virginia Union University.
